OMEGA ZETA HISTORY
The Omega Zeta chapter of Omega Psi Phi, Fraternity Inc was chartered on the campus of Duke University in Durham, NC on Friday April 12, 1974 by the authority of 29th Grand Basileus Marion Garnett.
The Omega Zeta known as The Winning QZ was the FIRST African American Greek Letter organization to be chartered on Duke's Campus.
There were thirteen students, known as the Thirteen Commandments, that embodied the values of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift. It is these cardinal principles that all men of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc embrace and live.
